Contemporary Paradise is a re-visiting of Donald Appleyard and Kevin Lynch's 1974 publication of Temporary Paradise? A look at the special landscape of the San Diego region. Our team created diagrams to support Professor Michael Dear's theoretical framework for a "third nation," made up of interconnected urban spaces developed along the US-Mexico border, commonly known as bordertowns.
