Ocean Beach Sea Wall
San Francisco, CA
The Ocean Beach Play Wall is a proposal to retrofit the current sea wall into a series of playful re-imaginings with reference to the historic Ocean Beach Playland.  The proposal supports a vision of active play and kinetic motion - slide, skate, swim, and bike.  A limited materials palette of wood, steel, concrete, soft grasses, and steam is employed to play off the unique ephemeral atmosphere of fog and cold winds at Ocean Beach.

In collaboration with Micaela Bazo and Xiuxian Zhan.
